Behind the Scenes is a new WMSC program, with field trips to local businesses to find out how they operate, what they do, and the business dynamics underpinning our local economy. We’ve all seen the proliferation of cannabis businesses, but what is behind the scenes? Other businesses will be featured in the future. The Stoned Moose: Bethel’s First Adult Use Cannabis Store Must be 21 or over: bring ID Thursday, February 16, 1:00 p.m. (up to 50), 22 Sunday River Road. Owner Mike Everett of The Stoned Moose and will provide an overview of the cannabis business: medical vs. recreational, trends and challenges. Come learn about this new and rapidly growing element of Maine’s agricultural economy.

“As a celebration of my 65th birthday, I decided I wanted to do something hard, meaningful and fun. The answer was to walk 500 miles on the Camino de Santiago in the fall of 2021 with three lifelong friends. Everyone has their own experience on the Camino, come and hear about mine!” Adrienne will show pictures and there will be plenty of time for Q&A about this and other adventures. Bring your lunch
